Course Highlights

Home Networking Issues
Networking in the home... if you don't understand it, you need to. Home networking is critical for virtually everything we do from spam control to media delivery. There are so many devices and function, the days of installing a simple home network to allow internet access and printer shariing are gone forever. Understand the alerts from a firewall, testing your firewall, and problems a firewall cannot prevent. Join Shaylyn Weder in exploring home networking issues and their solutions.

Conversational Spanish (CLEET Certified)
Learn conversational Spanish, including salutations, commonly used words, and phrases and Spanish customs. You will have the opportunity to practice speaking Spanish in class. Prepare yourself for a bi-lingual world or a trip to a Spanish speaking country.

ESL Class
Whether your goals are personal or professional, English as a Second Language offers adults with no or limited English proficiency an opportunity to learn the English language communications skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This class is designed to meet the diverse needs of students, ranging from the English of daily living to the language required for work or continued education.

Homebuyer Education
Learn how to purchase a home safely and affordably. If you are planning on purchasing a single-family home, this class is for you. This class will provide you with guidelines on what you can afford, home inspections, what to expect at closing, how to plan for maintenance costs and much more.

Pre-License Real Estate
This 90 hour course satisfies the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission's education requirement for a provisional sales associate license and prepares the student to sit for the state exam. Basic fundamentals and terminology are covered. Students are usually ready to apply for the state exam on the day following class completion.

Safety Essentials
Safety in the workplace is important for all employees! With many in Northwest Oklahoma entering the oil and gas industry, knowing safety requirements is a must! Safety Essentials, which is offered monthly, provides general knowledge and certification in OSHA, CPR and First Aid. Send one employee or several each month for this vitial training.

Carrying Concealed Weapons
Oklahoma law recognizes the right for citizens to defend themselves from possible threats to their lives. Tony Wisely, a certified Oklahoma Conceal and Carry instructor, teaches this one day class. Train to receive a license to lawfully carry a weapon. Call today to enroll and receive details regarding this class. This is a single day training; however, monthly sessions are scheduled at your convenience.

DIY (Do It Yourself) Dog Grooming
Is finding and getting your dog to the groomer difficult? Are you concerned about how your dog might be handled at a salon? Is dog grooming too expensive for your pocketbook? If you answered yes to these questions, then this class is for you! Join Dora Fogelstrom as she teaches you to groom your dog yourself.

Grilling by Gary and Freddy Brown and Brian Hofen
Have a passion for outdoor cooking? Join Gary and Freddy Brown and Brian Hofen in this "hands-on" class of creating menus that every backyard chef can easily replicate at home. They share tips on entertaining and menu planning from cocktails to desserts. Everything that is prepared in class will be served, so come hungry!

Digital Photography
Join Lynn Martin and explore the world of digital photography. Learn how to take, store, and display your digital photographs. Whether you are new to photography or a longtime professional, this class is for you!
