Landscape Designer - Fairview Campus
A Landscape Designer career major prepares students as landscaper designers who plan and maintain landscaped environments including turf areas.  Students will be trained in the safe use of tools and equipment, proper utilization of surveying equipment, appropriate placement of landscaping materials and estimating materials used in a landscape project.  Included are design principals, wildlife conservation and environmental controls.

Landscape Maintenance Technician - Fairview Campus
A Landscape Maintenance Technician career major prepares students as landscape maintenance technicians who cultivate and maintain landscaped environments including turf areas.  Students will be trained in materials estimating and design considerations and grounds keeping duties such as pruning, de-thatching, irrigation, soil preparation, mulching and seasonal applications.  Included is training in operation of tools and equipment such as mowers and tractors, ZTR, verticut machines, chippers, aerators, and sprayers and spreaders.
